John Adams deserves a monument in Washington D.C. He deserves one for many reasons. One reason Adams should have a monument is because He was the first vice president and the second president of the United States. He accomplished many things as the president of the U.S. Some things he accomplished was he signed the controversial Alien and Sedition Acts, which were designed to protect Americans from foreign insurgents. He also had built up the army and navy to fight France in the unofficial "Quasi War," but eventually found a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
Nothing in life that is good and worthwhile comes without effort. This means that for everything you want, you have to work for it. The work isn't ever gonna be easy. If you want good grades, you have to work for it. If you want to do anything in life, its not gonna come easy. In order to throw a shot put, I practice hard and stay later and throw. The reason why I stay later is to get better. While i'm getting better, others are at home doing nothing. Sometimes junior high track doesn't have practice. When theres no practice I go to the High school practice to throw with them. To get good grades I study for tests and turn in homework on time. In football, to get better I practice tackling and Blocking. All this stuff is hard. Even though this stuff is hard, In the end its worth every second of it. In order to get good at squatting, I practice getting low. In the end its worth placing in powerlifting meets. Placing in a powerlifting meet is hard because it takes a lot of work. This quote is also important for my future because I have to work for a house, vehicles and many more. Buying this stuff isn't gonna be easy in the future. It's gonna take lots of hard work to do.
I have learned a lot from the poster assignment. In this assignment I learned how to use different websites that helps me. I learned how to use things like Fotoflexer and Canva. I learned how to work these sites to make my posters better. Since we have to make posters, Canva helped me make lots of them. Fotoflexer helped me put special effects on some images. I also have learned how to make these posters into easy ways to remember them for testing that's coming up.
In this assignment I would change a few things. One of the things I would change is we should be alone and not with partners. I don’t think partners is a very good idea is because your partner may not do any of the work. If you do all the work and your partner does nothing, you may get a bad grade. Especially if you have to do all the work and you don’t have very much done because you have to basically work on the assignment yourself.
This assignment will help me remember some key concepts and terms. This assignment will help me because it makes it very easy to remember some important information for the testing. Studying these posters before tests will help you remember them easily. It helps you remember them because on the posters it's easy to remember.
Do you think the FBI should be able to hack apple Iphones? Apple should not let the FBI be able to hack their phones for privacy reasons.
The FBI wants Apples permission to hack their IPhones. people will not let the FBI be able to hack their phones. Since the IPhone users want their privacy, Apple won’t let FBI hack their phones. According to Randal G. Holcombe, the author of FBI Demands Was Unconstitutional “The U.S. government has no right to force anybody to provide it services against their will.” There are many very good reasons why Apple shouldn’t let the FBI hack their phones if needed. The government can’t force people to show privacy. If Iphone users had to show private information, this would break the laws.
The FBI wants access to Farook's phone, But Apple won’t let them. According to Randal G. Holcombe, the author of FBI Demands Was Unconstitutional “Farook and his wife killed 14 people in a mass shooting in San Bernardino last December. The FBI thought Farook's phone might have important information about the shooting. However, because of the privacy features of the iPhone, the FBI could not search through the phone without the password. The FBI doesn't have the right to check Farook's phone. They can’t do this because of the 4th Amendment of the United States. According to the 4th Amendment this states that the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Apple doesn't want to share private information for other reasons. Apple may also not want hackings for business reasons. According to Randal G. Holcombe, the author of FBI Demands Were Unconstitutional “I have seen other arguments for supporting Apple. These arguments say Apple refused to unlock the phone for business reasons, to protect the value of its brand.” The Apple company has every right to protect its business. Should the U.S. government be able to force companies to damage the value of their own brand? Since Apple phones have features that protect the privacy of people's information, they aren't going to give FBI access to hack their phones. The Fourth Amendment to the Constitution guarantees Americans this right to privacy, so they don't have to share private information.
The Apple company should have refused to help the FBI. Apple let the FBI have access to their phones. Doing this went against the United States 4th Amendment. Privacy is very important for some people. Individuals have the right to possess information without having to share it with the government. Yes, the Fourth Amendment also says the government has a right to search the personal property. However, the government can only do this with a search warrant and a very good reason to do so. The Fourth Amendment does not say that anyone else can be forced to aid the government in its searches.

"Celebrities get a lot of attention, but is all of that attention stressing? If a person is famous, it may lead to a lot of stress in their life. Although they may seem happy, they are really stressed, and unhappy. Stars are famous but have to give up a lot.
There are many reasons why stars can be stressed out. According to a scholastic article, some of the reasons why theyre stressed is because Stars have to wonder if their friends like them for who they are or for what they have. This may make them stressed. Some other reasons why being famous may be stressing is because after awhile, the happiness that comes from fame is fleeting. The fame is fleeting because after awhile the extra attention gets old, and the items you get do not give you true happiness. To outsiders, constant attention might seem glamorous. In reality, though, it brings an enormous amount of stress. At first the attention isn't as bad.
Some stars may look happy but are very stressed out. Although they make lots of money. Stars are very rich. Just like Jennifer Lawrence she earns more money from one movie than most people make in a lifetime. Plus, she gets amazing perks, like free clothes from top designers, front-row seats at prestigious award shows, and trips around the world. Stars get a lot of free stuff and nice stuff but it can be really hard to be famous. Stars lives may look easy and fun, but it can be very hard and stressing.
Despite their fame and fortune, many celebrities may not be as happy as they seem. According to a recent study, true happiness doesn't come from attention and fame. Turns out, the happiness that comes from fame is fleeting. “It’s the kind of happiness you get when you buy a new purse,” explains Donna Rockwell, a psychologist who specializes in celebrity mental health. “That kind of happiness fades within no time.” The fame and happiness goes away because they may get tired of cameras and microphones and their phones wherever they go.
Clearly, not all stars crumble under the pressures of fame. Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Will Smith, and Justin Timberlake—all of whom became famous as teens--
seem to be doing fine. Lawrence is holding steady too, though she has
had to deal with a lot of drama. Her phone has been hacked and her looks and eating habits have been criticized in the media. Some stars get depressed and stressed, While some don’t.
Although my break felt short, it was fun. One of the reasons why I enjoyed my break so much is,because I got to spend time with my family. My family and I spent time together on the holidays.
On Christmas morning we opened presents about 7:00. Some of the presents I got for Christmas were new boots, sweatshirts, shirts, sweatpants, movies, $200 and a lot more. My favorite present I got was a gun. The gun I got was a Marlin .22. I am very thankful for all my presents. After my family opened presents, we had Christmas dinner. My Grandma and Grandpa came over and ate with us. For Christmas, I also went to my other Grandparents house and got money for Christmas.
New years was really fun. For new years my family had a dinner, but it was just my family and Grandma and grandpa. Later after we ate we played board games. Then after we did that, we went to bed. The next day I went squirrel hunting. My uncle is the one that took me, also my cousin went with us. We went to the woods, but We didn’t see anything. So later I went deer hunting. When I was in the woods I saw a buck, so I shot it. I was so happy because that was my first deer. Then the next day was also fun. Since it was my cousin's birthday, my family went to her house to spend time with them. They had cake and ice cream and we ate and stayed for a while then left.
Overall my break was pretty good. My favorite part of my Christmas break was probably when I got my first deer. I also liked because I could spend time with my family. I am really thankful to have a good Christmas and new year.
Currently i'm in 8th grade, and my grade point average for the 1st nine weeks was about 3.4. I like working on cars and building stuff. Since I don’t like being inside all the time, I am usually outside. My biggest interest is working on cars. When I grow up, I want to be a diesel mechanic.
I will become a car mechanic by going to EHOVE and learning the necessary things to be a diesel mechanic. I would have to go to EHOVE to learn and do the basics of diesel mechanics. According to Ohio Means Jobs I will need Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. What I would learn here is the basics of being a diesel mechanic. Some of the things that I need to know is machines and tools. Also how to repair and do maintenance on diesel vehicles. Some of the skills I would need is knowing how to Repair machines or systems using the needed tools. I need to learn this so I know how to do it the right way
Since It takes a lot to be a Diesel mechanic, it can be hard. According to money.usnews, “A service tech’s typical work environment includes a well-ventilated and lit repair shop with oily parts and tools. These workers bend and crouch in uncomfortable positions under and over various automobiles to tighten bolts, install engines, change oil, replace common automotive filters and perform other repairs. Because they frequently lift heavy parts and tools in cramped places, service technicians often experience minor on-the-job injuries, like cuts and bruises.” What Diesel mechanics have to do can be pretty hard. They have to work on diesel vehicles and tighten bolts, install engines, change oil, replace common automotive filters and perform other repairs. This can be hard because they have to bend and crouch in uncomfortable positions under and over various automobiles. Sometimes diesel mechanics get minor injuries. These include on-the-job injuries, like cuts and bruises.
Diesel Mechanics are in demand in the U.S. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), diesel mechanics and technicians are in high demand across America, with approximately 242,200 technicians being employed in the mechanic industry. Diesel mechanics can make any where from $28,280 to $66,940. This is their yearly salary range. The hourly income is about $14 to $32. I will be doing this my whole life, but there's different things in diesel mechanics.
Career day helped me a lot. It helped me because it made me realize how the real world is. Although you make a lot of money, you still have to buy a house, vehicle, insurance, healthcare and many more things, which can cost a lot. This is why you want to get a good paying job, and to do that, you have to go to college.
Before career day I was a building inspector. I didn't like this job because in my opinion there wasn't enough money, because my yearly salary was $43,310. I didn't have enough because I had to get a second job. My second job was pouring concrete. I didn't have enough money because I didn't realize how much everything cost in the real world. For example I had to buy a house, car, insurance, utility bills, food, clothes and many more. At the end I only had $400 left. Since at one point I had negative $42, I had to get a second job just to buy the rest.
The first part of the day, which was the reality store. I liked this we got to see how the real world worked. Because we didn't have much money, We had to spend it wisely. If we didn't spend it wisely we had to get a second job. If we spent money on things like lottery tickets then you ran out of money fast. I also had to take care of one child.
The second part of the day was afternoon speakers. I liked this because there was actual people there that did or had that job. My three classes were social media and sports, Ag ATI, and military STEM. I also liked this because there was presentations and videos that we got to watch.
Donald Trump will “Make America great again”. He will do this by keeping illegal immigrants out. Hillary Clinton wants to ban guns while Trump wants to keep them. Donald Trump also wants to lower taxes. I'm on Donald Trump's side and America should vote for him.
Donald Trump should be president because he’s going to keep illegal immigrants out of the U.S. Donald Trump doesn't want immigrants here he said "Our message to the world will be this. “You cannot obtain legal status or become a citizen of the United States by illegally entering our country.” Donald Trump doesn't want immigrants in our country. Because these immigrants could be terrorists. How he’s gonna solve this is to build a wall, around the U.S.
Hillary Clinton wants to ban guns, unlike Donald Trump. I agree with this because the second amendment says that everyone has the right to bare arms. He says guns saves lives. According to a newsela article, He said, “If we had guns in California on the other side where the bullets went in the different direction, you wouldn't have 14 or 15 people dead right now. If even in Paris, if they had guns on the other side, going in the opposite direction, you wouldn't have 130 people plus dead. So the answer is no. Although guns are a very dangerous weapon, I agree with the second amendment.” According to an newsela article, Hillary Clinton says “The stakes are too high, the costs are too dear, and I am not and will not be afraid to keep fighting for common-sense reforms, and along with you, achieve those on half of all who have been lost because of this senseless gun violence in this country.”
Donald Trump wants to lower taxes. He wants to do this by lowering it to 15 percent. According to Procon.org Trump said, "Lower the corporate tax rate to 15% to unleash American ingenuity here at home and make us more globally competitive. This tax cut puts our rate 10 percentage points below China and 20 points below our current burdensome rate that pushes companies and jobs offshore." I agree with Trump because he wants to lower tax. This should happen because doing this will add millions of jobs. Hillary Clinton doesn't want to do this.
I agree with Donald Trump, and I want him to become president. Some of the reasons why I want Trump to be president is because he wants illegal immigrants out of our country, lower taxes, and he also wants to keep guns and Hillary Clinton wants to ban them. Donald Trump is gonna solve these problems by building a wall to keep immigrants out.

I think that adding tax to sugary drinks would be a good idea.I think there should be at least a penny per ounce on these drinks. This would cause less customers to but these drinks that contain lots of sugar.
Each side has pros and cons. Adding tax to sugary drinks would cause many stores to go out of business. Some people think that there should be tax added, but others think to add tax. People that think there should be tax because of obesity. I think there should be tax on sugary drinks. Health experts say the beverages contribute to health issues such as diabetes, obesity and tooth decay. If the drinks cost more, less people would buy them. Although theres also a downside to adding tax would cause small stores to go out of business. I think adding tax on drinks would be a good idea. I think this because this would decrease obesity. I think that not adding tax to sugary drinks would not solve any problems.
Because Roughly 13 percent of African-American and Latino adults are diagnosed with diabetes. Only 7.6 percent of whites get diabetes. This is according to a 2014 report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This shows how many people get diabetes in America. The American Heart Association recommends children consume less than six teaspoons of added sugar a day. A normal-sized can of Coca-Cola is 12-ounces and contains nearly 10 teaspoons of sugar. It has more than four teaspoons more sugar than children should consume in a day. This shows how much sugar is consumed. "This is San Francisco's second try at a soda tax. In 2014, a similar proposal failed to get enough votes for a "dedicated" tax, which requires a two-thirds approval. This year, backers went for a "general" tax, which requires a simple majority and doesn't stipulate how the revenue is spent." and "Opponents, however, say a "grocery tax" will lead to higher prices on other goods, hurting small businesses and customers struggling to survive in one of the country's most expensive places. They also warn that city leaders can use the money however they want, despite talk of putting it toward health programs." show that the soda tax failed last time, if it is approved groceries are going to be more expensive, and some small businesses may collapse and go bankrupts.
I think there should be tax on soda. I think there should be at least one cent per ounce of soda. Sugary drinks can cause many health problems. I think we should try to prevent these. Many attempts failed to add tax on soda. Many small businesses may go out of business. This may happen because if a tax is added to these drinks then less people would bye them. This could be bad. But there is to much obesity. This is why I think there should be a tax on sodas.

Victor Cruz is a Wide receiver in the NFL. He plays for the New York Giants. Victor Cruz is a good person. He had a tough time recovering, but he still believed. This motivates me because he still had hope through the bad times. He had a bad injury, but he still believed. He always believed in his self.
Victor is a good person, although he had a hard time. Victor Cruz made a huge comeback. On October 13th, Victor Cruz had a tear in his patellar tendon. A patellar tendon is which connects the kneecap to the top of the shin bone. He got injured while catching a touchdown pass, but fell to the ground holding his knee. Unfortunately Victor Cruz was out for the season. The next season 2015 Victor Cruz got hurt again and was still having troubles recovering healthy. Everyone doubted that he would ever play another snap in the NFL. Victor is a good person because of what he did. After all, this happened Victor took a huge pay cut just so he could stay with the giants. His salary was cut from $7.9 million to $2.7 million. I liked how he did this because he chose his team over money. To this tells me that he isn't worried about money.
Victor Cruz is my hero. He's my hero because when everyone doubted him, he still had hope. He never gave up. He motivates me. When I see him playing after over 700 days without playing a single game. He played on September 11th, His first game back was the season opener against the cowboys. What surprised me is that he caught the game-winning touchdown. I would like to meet Victor in real life, Because I'm a fan of him.
