Currently i'm in 8th grade, and my grade point average for the 1st nine weeks was about 3.4. I like working on cars and building stuff. Since I don’t like being inside all the time, I am usually outside. My biggest interest is working on cars. When I grow up, I want to be a diesel mechanic.
I will become a car mechanic by going to EHOVE and learning the necessary things to be a diesel mechanic. I would have to go to EHOVE to learn and do the basics of diesel mechanics. According to Ohio Means Jobs I will need Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. What I would learn here is the basics of being a diesel mechanic. Some of the things that I need to know is machines and tools. Also how to repair and do maintenance on diesel vehicles. Some of the skills I would need is knowing how to Repair machines or systems using the needed tools. I need to learn this so I know how to do it the right way

Career day helped me a lot. It helped me because it made me realize how the real world is. Although you make a lot of money, you still have to buy a house, vehicle, insurance, healthcare and many more things, which can cost a lot. This is why you want to get a good paying job, and to do that, you have to go to college.
